IT seems Annie Hill managed to pull the wool over everyone’s eyes until the very end.
The wife of Edelweiss singer Vince Hill was laid to rest last Friday following her death last month.
As page 3 of the Henley Standard reported last week, Annie was 77 — or so we thought. Her younger brother George Davison revealed at a memorial service that she was in fact 78.
He said: “Even on the day of her funeral, even at 78, she was able to get in the papers and knock a year off her age — and she’s a page three girl!”
