THE Easter Hyde End Craft Fair returns over the Easter Holiday period with new organisers looking to put their own mark on the event.

The show will invite more working demonstrations, and included this year are hourly glass blowing demonstrations by Ed and Margaret Burke of E&M Glass.

Based in Shropshire they bring their mobile glass blowing studio and present six different demonstrations each day, producing an array of vases, bowls, glasses and abstract pieces.

Another fascinating demonstration is the art of raku firing. It’s an age old rapid firing technique of glazing pottery vessels.

It is a highly visual display and gives visitors a chance to have a go themselves and take home a glazed pot.

The show has a new layout with a separate food marquee and wooden floors fitted to all the main marquees.

We see this as an exciting new period for the Hyde End Craft Show, many of the existing exhibitors will again be there with a good selection of new talent. We do hope you can join us this Easter. The show runs from Friday, March 25, to Monday, March 28, at Hyde End near Great Missenden, Bucks. Opening hours are 10am to 5pm daily and admission is £6 for adults, £5 for over-65s and £1 for children.
