Pipe repairs

09:30AM, Monday 29 September 2025

SEWER pipelining work took place in Eastfield Lane in Whitchurch this week.

From Monday to Thursday, Thames Water carried out cured-in-place patch repairs.

The trenchless work involved installing a textile liner within the damaged pipe, which has been cured with heat to create a new pipe within the old one.

This will prevent groundwater and tree roots from entering the pipe and stop foul water from escaping.
