09:30AM, Monday 18 August 2025

THE third annual organic festival will take place at the Hardwick estate in Whitchurch next weekend.

The organic growers’ gathering will take place from Friday, 22 to Sunday, 24 and will include talks, workshops and live music.

Visitors can learn about no-dig methods from Charles Dowding, how to grow beans with Josiah Meldrum and how to treat ash dieback with Tommy Ashton.

The festival started in 2022.

In 2023, it partnered with the Organic Growers Alliance and the Community Supported Agriculture Network.

When it began the event attracted more than 300 visitors and last year this number grew to 450.

Day tickets start at £76.55. Camping tickets for four nights, with access to all areas, start at £174.05. Bursary tickets are available.
