A SPECIAL exhibition focusing on the work of 18th century landscape architect Lancelot “Capability” Brown is showing at Caversham Court Gardens next month.
Devised by the Berkshire Gardens Trust, Capability Brown in Berkshire will mark the 300th anniversary of the birth of the father of English landscape gardening.
It is showing in the 17th century summer house at the Church Road park from 2pm to 5pm on Saturday, September 10, and Sunday, September 11.
Guided tours of the riverside gardens will also be available — including sensory tours for visually- or hearing-impaired people.
Entry to the gardens and exhibition is free and refreshments will be available from a charity-run tea kiosk on site.
