MORE than 100 people attended an exhibition hosted by the Watercress Painters of Ewelme last weekend.
Held at the Ewelme Watercress Beds Centre, the exhibition featured artworks by members of the group led by Trisha Scott.
The artists sold several cards and seven paintings, four of which were of local scenes local to Ewelme.
Ms Scott sold a painting of St Mary the Virgin Church, Burrows Hill and the village pond known as Kings Pool, which King Henry VIII is rumoured to have been pushed into by his Queen, Catherine Howard.
Ms Scott said: “As a group, we’ve evolved over the last 12 years since we started. We’ve improved, learned from each other and gained a couple of new members.”
She added that it was “lovely” to see so many people at the exhibition.
