Police seek witnesses after motorcyclist killed in crash

Police are looking for witnesses after a 47-year-old motorcyclist has died in Colnbrook after colliding with a lorry.

Today (August 31), around 11.50am, there was a crash on the A4 Colnbrook bypass / Lakeside Road, between a red Triumph motorcycle and a lorry trailer.

The motorcyclist, a 47-year-old man from Ruislip, has sadly died at the scene. His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers. No arrests have been made at this time.

Investigating officer PC Mark Dunne from the Roads Policing Unit said: “Firstly, I want to offer my deepest condolences to the family of the man who sadly died in this collision.

“I am appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time to please check their dash-cam footage, in case they captured the collision or the moments leading up to the collision.

“Anyone with information should call 101 or make an online report, via our website, quoting reference number 43250445296.
