New trail at festival

09:30AM, Monday 29 September 2025

ORGANISERS of next year’s Wargrave Festival are inviting residents to come forward to take part in a new arts trail to be held during the three-week event.

Bee Burke and Helen Wallace are looking for emerging artists and designers to exhibit a mixture of handiwork including paintings, sculpture work, photography, digital, textiles, illustration and drawings.

Artists will also have the option to exhibit work in their own homes, gardens or workshops for guests to visit.

Helen Wallace, who is on the festival organising committee, said: “It’s going to be a fun, friendly, joyful event and the more variety, the better.

“There is also the opportunity to sell your work, should you wish.”
