Julia Roberts is Yale University professor Alma Imhoff, who is used to having adoring fans among her students. When promising undergraduate Maggie (Ayo Edebiri) levels accusations at her colleague, Hank (Andrew Garfield), who retorts that Maggie is guilty of plagiarism, Imhoff has to figure out what’s going on.

Her psychoanalyst husband, Frederik (Michael Stuhlbarg), is at turns supportive and yet taunting of her relationship with Hank, who has a tendency to flirt. She has to figure out the battle lines…

The cast also includes Chloë Sevigny, Thaddea Graham, David Leiber, Lio Mehiel and Will Price and the film has a running time of two hours and 19 minutes.

Dreamworks Animation has worked its wonders with Gabby’s Dollhouse: The Movie (U), out now for the kids. However, her dollhouse gets into the hands of Vera (Kristen Wiig), a scary cat lady.
