THE Goring scarecrow trail will return for a second year from Sunday, October 26 to Sunday, November 2.

Residents and businesses can create a scarecrow to show outside their properties or in a front window.

Entries cost £5 and will be judged in four categories, including scariest and funniest scarecrow.

Entry forms are available from Goring Grocer, Goring Hardware, the Catherine Wheel and Inspirations. Registration closes on Monday.

Trail maps cost £1 from village shops and should be returned to Inspirations.
