HENLEY Fire Station has become a designated “safe place”.

The station, in West Street, has joined the South Oxfordshire Safe Places Scheme, which helps vulnerable individuals.

Anyone feeling lost, anxious, confused, being bullied, harassed or feeling unsafe can visit the station.

Staff will be able to help you contact family, friends or carers, assist in resolving immediate concerns and contact the police, if necessary for your safety.
