Bid to add outbuilding

A MAN wants to add an outbuilding to his home in Kidmore Lane, Sonning Common.

Paul Nolan has applied to the district council to build a single-storey outbuilding with plans for a gym area, golf simulator and multi-purpose space in the building, which is planned to sit at the rear of the residence.

Plans also include a mezzanine level for storage and “overspill” sleeping space for visiting friends and family.

Luke Parmenter Design, on behalf of Mr Nolan, said the unit is not intended as an independent dwelling space, as no primary cooking or washroom facilities will be installed.

South Oxfordshire District Council will make a decision by October 31.
