THE new Chilterns Court Care Centre in the grounds of Henley’s Townlands Hospital, which is scheduled to open in the spring, will provide a home for 64 older people.
All residents will have their own spacious bedroom with en suite bathroom facilities, Sky and digital TV, Wi-Fi and 24-hour nurse call facility.
The home is designed in small “households”, each with its own living area including a lounge, sitting room, kitchen and dining room, a café, shop and hair salon. Care services will include residential and dementia care and our dedicated, professionally trained team is on hand round the clock, seven days a week to offer you the support you need, when you need it.
Our dedicated activity co-ordinator will talk to you about the wide range of activities and trips out, to encourage friendships and help you keep as active as you wish. We hope people will watch out for news of open days once construction is all finished and we’ll be seeking to recruit quality care staff too.
If anyone would like to see the plans for Chilterns Court, they are welcome to view them by appointment with Vicki Morl, the home manager at Chilterns End.
