Rupert House top winter series table

ON a blustery and windy Saturday morning fewer runners took to the field at Maiden Erlegh Chiltern Edge for the final race of the year in South Oxfordshire Primary School’s cross country winter series.

At the end of the latest round of races, Rupert House top the table with an impressive 145 points with Moulsford second on 40, Sonning Common third with 35, Woodcote fourth on 27, Nettlebed fifth with 20 and Sacred Heart sixth on nine.

The latest results were as follows: Year 1: Boys’ — 1 Harrison Barr, Rupert House; 2 James Purdue, Kidmore End; 3 Jack Friend, Rupert House. Girls’ — 1 Phoebe Conway, Nettlebed; 2 Victoria Vernon, Rupert House; 3 Orya Sarilan Fraifeld, Trinity.

Year 2: Boys’ — 1 George Gibbons, Trinity; 2 Ernie Goodson, Kidmore End; 3 Rocco Richards, Shiplake. Girls’ — 1 Eva Worsfold, Kidmore End; 2 Sienna Laykin, Nettlebed; 3 Bethan Palmer, Shiplake.

Year 3: Boys’ — 1 Jack Siveyer, Whitchurch; 2 Max Smith, Sacred Heart; 3 Henry Cuthbert, Rupert House. Girls’ — 1 Phoebe Soles, Nettlebed; 2 Freya Hamand, Kidmore End; 3 Lucy Vernon, Rupert House.

Year 4: Boys’ — 1 Joseph Conway, Nettlebed; 2 Teddy Holland, Kidmore End; 3 Thomas Lamacraft, Shiplake. Girls’ — 1 Isabelle Bromley, Trinity; 2 Alice Friend, Rupert House; 3 Florence Short, Rupert House.

Year 5: Boys’ — 1 Joseph Palmer, Shiplake; 2 Jay Jennings, Whitchurch; 3 Oliver Harman, Caversham. Girls’ — 1 Teddy Molnar, Rupert House; 2 Martha Sudbury, Woodcote; 3 Ellie, Sacred Heart.

Year 6: Boys’ — 1 Ambrose Paviour, Kidmore End; 2 Lucas Robinson, Moulsford; 3 James Bradford, Rupert House. Girls’ — 1 Jemima Watson, Rupert House; 2 Eloise Wouten, Rupert House; 3 Alice Vernon, Rupert House.

The next race will take place on January 25 at The Oratory School.
