An appeal for information has been launched after masked robbers held a man at knifepoint at a Methodist Church in Slough.

Two men wearing face coverings robbed another man at the Methodist Church in Hampshire Avenue at around 5.10pm on Tuesday, September 30.

The victim, a man in his 30s, had his clothing cut and suffered ‘multiple small cuts’ to his body as the robbers stole his wallet, police said. He was given first aid but did not need hospital treatment.

Thames Valley Police has appealed for witnesses to the crime.

The first offender has been described as a six-foot-tall man of broad build. He wore all black clothing and a ski mask.

The second offender has been described as a man of slim build and around five feet and ten inches in height. He also wore all black clothing, an Adidas top and a balaclava.  

Detective Constable Sikander Channa, investigating officer, said: “I am appealing to anybody who witnessed this robbery or anyone who may have information that could assist our investigation to please get in touch.
