Dispersal order in place across Windsor areas over disturbances and anti-social behaviour

A Section 34 Dispersal Order has been authorised for several areas in Windsor, following disturbances and anti-social behaviour (ASB) ‘which has escalated’, Thames Valley Police (TVP) said.

In a post on its TVP Windsor and Maidenhead Facebook page, the force said the order will be in place until 11.59pm tonight (Sunday).

During this time there will be ‘an influx’ of policing units across a number of areas in the town.

These include:

  • Alma Road to Arthur Road
  • Arthur Road to Goswell Road
  • Goswell Road to Barry Avenue
  • Barry Avenue to River Street
  • River Street to Thames Avenue
  • Thames Avnue to Datchet Road
  • Datchet Road to Thames Street
  • Thames Street to High Street
  • High Street to Castle Hill
  • Castle Hill to St Albans Street
  • St Albans Street to Sheet Street
  • Sheet Street to Frances Road
  • Frances Road to Osbourne Road
  • Osbourne Road to Alma Road.

Anyone with concerns can speak to a police officer/staff member patrolling in the community either on foot or in vehicles.

Witnesses to any ASB-related offences and are asked to call 101 or 999 depending on the severity of the incident.
