Shiplake duo strike gold

TWO Shiplake College rowers won gold medals when they represented Great Britain at the Coupe de la Jeunesse earlier this month, an event that brings together the best junior rowers from across Europe.

As cox of the junior women’s eight, year 13 , Charlotte Hodgkinson led her crew to gold medals in both A finals while year 12 Rupert Evans enjoyed double success, with his junior men’s coxless four winning gold in both A finals.
