Caversham’s hidden gem is more than just kitchens

GRIGGS AND MACKAY is an award-winning bespoke kitchen and fitted furniture maker, able to transform any room in your home with high quality, handcrafted cabinetry.

Made locally in our workshop in Bix, every project is thoughtfully designed and made to the highest standard. But there’s more to us than just kitchens.

For more than 25 years Caversham has been home to the Griggs and Mackay shop, a home and interiors store selling distinctive furniture, lighting, decorative accessories, textiles, kitchenware, gifts, and the occasional antique.

With items specially sourced from Scandinavia, France and the Low Countries, our range combines classic and trend-led pieces with a European flair.

We stock locally made items too, such as hand-poured scented candles and bottle stoppers crafted from reclaimed wood.

The shop also functions as a showroom for our kitchens, pop in to see our craftsmanship for yourself and grab a brochure.

Whether you are looking for show-stopping new furniture, a little something to update your space or want to get some inspiration and discuss your interior, we would love to help you any way we can.

You can follow us on Instagram @griggsandmackaydesign or visit us at 11 Church Road, Caversham, RG4 8AA.
