Builder’s £1,000 centre donation

CAMP Mohawk, a multi-functional day centre, has received £1,000 donation by regional housebuilder Miller Homes.

This will enable the charity to continue maintaining and expanding its outdoor and indoor facilities, for the benefit of children across Berkshire who live with special needs.

Davina Turnbull, corporate and community fundraiser for Camp Mohawk, said: “Donations are incredibly important in enabling us to continue providing the vital support we offer to more than 700 families.

“Enabling our children, young people and their parents to access essential social, play and leisure facilities that meet their needs whatever challenges they are facing remains our top priority.”

Katrina Crawford, sales and marketing director of Miller Homes Southern, said: “The staff and volunteers at Camp Mohawk provide exceptional support to children and families across Berkshire who require their services. We’re very proud to be able to help them continue to offer the opportunities within their outdoor environment with this contribution.”
