THE COMMUNITY Land Trust in Henley has been recognised as a charity.

The trust, which was set up to provide affordable housing, has been awarded status as a charitable communication benefit society.

On Monday, November 17, the trust will hold its first meeting in the town hall in Market Place at 7pm and will welcome new members. It is seeking donations to fund the first steps of its development at its plot at Highlands Park on the northern field.
