A MAN has been banned from driving after being caught speeding on a motorway.

Thomas Leers, 43, of Pishill, was travelling in his Land Rover on the M4 between junctions 7 and 6 near Slough at 69mph in a 60mph variable speed limit zone.

He pleaded guilty to a count of exceeding a variable speed limit at High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court and was disqualified for six months.

Leers was also fined £250 and must pay £90 court costs and a £100 surcharge.
