ENTRIES are open for the Mayor of Henley’s Christmas card design competition.

Councillor Tom Buckley has decided a theme of “A Victorian Christmas in Henley”, which should be represented in all submissions.

The winner will have their design printed on the Mayor’s official Christmas card by Baylis Community Media CIC, publishers of the Henley Standard.

Entrants must be aged five to 11 and either live or go to school in Henley. Entries should be original, creative and colourful and on
A5 paper and not use glitter or protruding items. Designs can be either landscape or portrait.

They should include the child’s name, age, phone number, school and address on the reverse. Entries must be submitted to the town hall by 3pm on Friday, November 7.

The winner will be invited to help switch the Christmas lights on for the Christmas Festival on Friday, November 28, and will receive a family ticket and goody bag for this year’s pantomime at the Kenton Theatre.
