HALLOWEEN events will take place in Watlington, Ewelme and Lewknor next week.

The Home Ed Hub will host a “Halloween Hang Out” at Watlington Hill Farm Sanctuary, in Hill Road, next Friday from 10.30am to 4.30pm.

At a cost of £30 per family, the event will feature apple bobbing, Halloween crafts, animal interactions, traditions of the Gaelic festival Samhain and a campfire and scavenger hunt.

Meanwhile, the Friends of Ewelme School group has organised a trail around the village to take place from 10am to 6pm next Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

The two-hour trail will feature decorated houses and finish at Shepherd’s Hut, High Street, which will be open for meals from noon.

Friends of Lewknor School is hosting a party in the village hall from 3.30pm to 5.30pm on Halloween.

The event will feature a trick or treat trail, music, a photo opportunity with “Ghostbusters” and Halloween crafts and activities.
