Church open after work

MAPLEDURHAM church will reopen in time for the remembrance service on Sunday.

St Margaret’s has been closed since mid-September for internal renovation.

The work included repairs and redecoration.

Rev Rachel Ross Smith will lead the service, which will begin at 11.15am.

She said: “It is exciting that the church will be open just in time for the community to come together to honour Armistice Day.”
