Firefighters raced to the scene of a crash in Langley during rush hour this morning.

At 8.20am on Thursday, October 30, Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service (RBFRS) received a call from police about reports of a collision on London Road.

Fire crews from Langley and Slough fire stations were sent to the scene, alongside one officer - usually dispatched for more serious or complex incidents.

Upon arrival, crews found a crash involving four cars, though there were no people trapped inside any of these.

Crews gave immediate emergency care to one person, before ensuring that South Central Ambulance Service was en route and handing the scene over to Thames Valley Police.

They were on scene for approximately half an hour.
