WILL JAYCOCK netted a hat-trick for GORING UNITED as they were held to a 4-4 draw at home against Division 2 basement side SONNING last Saturday.

Tom Heslop was also on target for the hosts in a match that saw Andrew Symonds pull off several good saves for the hosts.

Anwar Whight (2), Clive Akem-Che and Charlie Hiscox were on target for the visitors.

ROTHERFIELD UNITED RESERVES eased to a comfortable 4-1 Division 4 victory at Bishopswood against FC READING DONS. A much changed team saw man-of-the-match Michael Simpson net a hat-trick while Markland Tidswell also netted with a strike from 25 yards.

The only downside for United was that goalkeeper Tom Hemmett received the first red card of his football career in the second half for a professional foul.

Meanwhile in Division 5 GORING UNITED RESERVES slumped to a 6-1 defeat away to promotion chasing THE HOP LEAF. Quentin Ham was on target for the visitors.
