DELICIOUS smells, smiles and beautiful produce... every day in our kitchen at The Goring Grocer we make breakfast pastries, cakes, deli meals, savoury lunch items, salads and soups.

We are also proud to showcase products from the army of amazing small producers around the British Isles.

Neal’s Yard Dairy in London lovingly nurture our cheese in their maturing rooms, then finally when at peak condition it is dispatched to our shop.

Charcuterie comes from Cornwall and East Sussex; smoked fish is from the Weald of Kent. We have local meat from Vicars Game and we have milk from Lacey’s Family Farm in Lane End, Bucks (one of the only dairies left in the area!). Aston’s Organic Bakery in Lambourne, one of Rick Stein’s “Food Heroes”, supplies some bread and the rest is made here.

Then there are all the lovely little producers like Nomnom Chocolate from Wales; Pea Green Boat delicious cheese sables from Scotland; London Borough of Jam preserves; Newton and Potts pickles and chutneys and Farm to Table Veg from Goring Heath — to name a only a few!

We will never be able to compete with supermarkets on price but we can provide unique, well sourced products, good service and an interesting experience. We look forward to welcoming you to the shop.
