Henley Girls have the edge over local rivals

HENLEY GIRLS ran out 137 run winners against local rivals KIDMORE END GIRLS on Tuesday of last week.

Kidmore captain Tori Taylor won the toss and chose to field. Romilly Hayward got Henley off to a good start with two clean bowled wickets.

Maddie Brown took a wicket when keeper Mia Rogers took a catch behind while Lucy Day took a wicket in the third over.

Bronte Pye and Taylor both bowled accurately and Lottie Gudge claimed the fifth wicket with the aid of a Pye catch.

Holly Ranson bowled a maiden over which included a run out from Rogers. Sophie Radford came on for her bowling debut and took a double wicket maiden, aided by catches from Rogers and Day.
