AN electric food waste recycling vehicle has travelled more than
8,800 miles in the last year.

The vehicle was introduced by South Oxfordshire District Council to help cut CO2 emissions.

Leftover pumpkins were collected this week to be turned into energy to power up to 4,800 homes and fertiliser for local farms.
