A VIDEO posted online by Shiplake College last Friday depicts students and teachers copying the viral nonsensical “six-seven” meme, which has plagued classrooms up and down the country.
The meme originated from the Philadelphia rapper Skrilla’s 2024 track Doot Doot (6 7) and gained popularity when it was used as a made viral when the soundtrack was used repeatedly in video clips of the NBA basketball player, LaMelo Ball.
At the start of the Shiplake video, the music teacher counts up from five before the video pans to the students who are holding drumsticks in their hands, doing hand movements for six-seven.
Other classes include maths, where the teachers ask the area of a rectangle, a history teacher stating: “We all know what happened in 1667” and headteacher Tyrone Howe, who can be seen wearing a Christmas hat and eating six or seven cookies.
