THE chairman of trustees of a Henley charity which supports disabled young adults has stepped down after three years.
Ivor Lloyd led the Chiltern Centre in Greys Road since 2022, having taken over from Paul Barrett.
Secretary David Haddock has been appointed interim chair of trustees while a permanent successor is recruited.
Mr Lloyd, who lives in Caversham, said: “It has been an honour to serve the Chiltern Centre.
“Over the past three years, I have had the privilege of working alongside an inspiring team of staff, trustees and volunteers who are deeply committed to supporting young adults with disabilities and their families.
“I am very proud of what we have achieved together. My heartfelt thanks go to everyone in the community who has supported us.”
Gareth Groves, director of services at the centre, said: “Ivor’s compassion and determination have helped shape who we are today.
“We are incredibly thankful for the time, energy and heart he has given the centre, his impact will continue to be felt long after his tenure.”
