EMMER GREEN slipped to their second Premier Division defeat of the season last Sunday as they went down 6-2 to second placed READING UNITED at the Recreation Ground.
HENLEY EXILES moved up to fourth place in Division 5 after running out 4-0 winners against SALLY DONKEYS at Harpsden.
Henley took the lead when Dylan Waters laid the ball back for Charlie Saul to strike home from distance.
In the second half Exiles continued to pile on the pressure and they doubled their lead when club captain Henry McDonagh set up Dylan Waters for a neat finish. Two quickly became three when McDonagh turned provider again, setting up Bailey Greathead to tap past the keeper.
Lincoln Winters rounded off the scoring when his hard work and endeavour was rewarded as he calmly tucked the ball away.
The previous week HENLEY EXILES went down to a 2-1 defeat at CALCOT.
The home team took the lead from a pinpoint set piece that was met with a good header.
The second half started better for the Exiles as they piled on the pressure looking for an equaliser. Dylan Waters found the leveller when he beat the keeper with a well-struck free kick.
Henley were in the ascendancy but unable to take their chances and Calcot took advantage of some lapses in defending to score the winning goal.
