RUPERT House School in Henley raised more than £400 for Comic Relief on Red Nose Day. Staff and pupils were encouraged to wear rainbow-coloured clothes and come to school with “mad hair”.
Prizes were awarded to four children for the best outfit and the best hairstyles, which were chosen by the school council. Every pupil donated £2.
Headteacher Nick Armitage, who wore a long pink wig and a red nose, led a staff Time Warp dance.
He said: “The staff were very game in being prepared to make fools of themselves trying to follow some dance moves in front of the rest of the school.”
