WORK to install 500m of new foul water drainage pipework in Benson will begin next week.

It will connect to the existing sewer system and strengthen the network.

Starting on Monday, work will take place from 8am to 6pm on weekdays and is expected to take seven months.

Work will start at the southern end of Crown Lane, near the junction with High Street and Brook Street, progressing north towards Watlington Road.

The road will be closed at all times, with access maintained for residents and businesses only.
