Coaching day a hit

PHYLLIS COURT got on the national croquet map last week when they hosted the first croquet tournament management course in the region. Seven senior players, including three Phyllis Court members Raghu Iyer, Richard Peperell and Raymond Wood attended the course given by experienced croquet officials Frances Colman and Chris Roberts.

Another course, a first rules and referees course, took place at the club this week.

Meanwhile the first improvers’ coaching day for some years was also held this week at the club which was attended by 16 players. Another course will be held at the club in the coming weeks.
