AN application to extend a home in Highfield Park, Wargrave, has been turned down because it would be too big.

Mark Hannam wanted to build a two-storey side extension and single-storey rear and front extensions.

Wokingham Borough Council said the plans would result in “an overly prominent and incongruous addition” which would overlook neighbouring properties.
