MEMBERS of the Whitchurch and Goring Heath History Society are to give a series of short talks on Thursday.

Topics will include memories of life in Whitchurch and writer William Combe’s 1794 journey along the River Thames in South Oxfordshire.

The event will be at Whitchurch village hall at 7.30pm. Entry is £3, which includes coffee and biscuits.
