YOUNGSTERS from Wargrave staged their own concerts last weekend.

Budding musicians from the Rock Project, including a class at the Piggott School in Twyford Road, performed twice at Queen Mary’s College in Basingstoke.

They played hits by artists including Adele, Nirvana and the Kaiser Chiefs to hundreds of people, including parents and the mayors of Reading and Thatcham.

The concerts marked the the first year of the rock youth project.
