ALMOST 100 sixth form students and staff at Blue Coat School in Sonning will be taking part in this year’s Sleep Out in aid of the homeless on Friday, December 11.

They will be raising money for Launchpad Reading, which helps the homeless.

Organiser Maria Blackwell said: “People who are homeless come from all walks of life and have very different stories to tell and I’m very proud of our students who are participating.

“We choose to do it at this time of the year so the students can fully experience what it’s like to sleep outside in the cold.”

To support the Blue Coat Sleep Out text “COAT11 £10” to 70070.
