A DEVELOPER has submitted new plans for land in Peppard, claiming it has resolved concerns about the impact on neighbours and protected trees.

D&N Construction, of Salisbury, withdrew an application for two homes off Peppard Hill in December after South Oxfordshire District Council officers expressed concern. The company already has planning permission for a third house on a neighbouring plot, where Broadlands House used to stand.

The new plan proposes that one of the two houses has two bedrooms rather than three. It also includes a report by consultants saying the development would not affect the trees due to a new layout and there are no plans to excavate in the root protection area.

Peppard Parish Council will discuss the application at a meeting on Monday.
